Moissanite Crown Engagement Ring, Sterling Silver Crown Ring, Moissanite Wedding Ring, Diamond Alternative | Moonkist Designs

This beautiful Sterling Silver Crown Solitaire features a 6 mm faceted stone which weighs approximately 1 carat. The solitaire has been the archetypical engagement ring style since its introduction in 1886. Our version features a lovely crown detailing on the stone mounting. We are happy to create this ring in a variety of ring sizes, finish choices, and stone choices.

This ring features heavier prongs than our classic mounting, and is created with the active person in mind. This six prong ring mounting provides extra security for your stone. The band tapers gracefully from 7 mm width at the top to a 1.8 mm band. Although this ring isn't wide enough for our inside ring engraving, it pairs well with many of the other bands we offer!

The ring shown above features a 6 mm faceted Moissanite, but it can be created with your choice of the stones shown above. Moissanite is a sparkling laboratory-grown stone that has a fire that rivals that of a diamond. Moissanite was first discovered in 1893 by a French scientist named Henri Moissan. Originally discovered as part of a meteorite that fell to earth, natural Moissanite is incredibly rare. The Moissanite we sell is a laboratory-created by Charles and Colvard, and comes with a certificate and limited warranty.
