Opal Silver Tendril and Vine Pattern Hoop Dangle Bridal Earrings - October Birthstone
These beautiful Opal Silver Tendril and Vine Pattern Hoop Dangle Bridal Earrings feature 6 mm round cabochons bezel set in fine silver. Our setting process involves carefully tightening the fine silver bezel down around the stone, then beveling at the edge of the bezel to further compress the silver, creating a water-tight seal with no stone movement. The earrings shown in this picture feature man-made Opal, but we are happy to make them in any of the stone choices in the pictures above.
The Tendril and Vine wire that creates these unique curled hoops measures approximately 3 mm (about 1/10") wide. The gently shaped spiral measures 18 mm in length (.7 inch) without the dangles, or 28 mm (1.1 inch) with the dangles. The Sterling Silver posts on these earrings measure 12 mm (approximately .5 inch) in length. These earrings come complete with Sterling Silver earring backs.
The curling tendril and curving vine is a theme repeated over and over in Celtic art. Interconnections and winding vines are commonly seen on tapestries, writings, knot work and carvings. These have been thought to symbolize connection, eternity, and branching and expanding in new directions, which I think is a pretty wonderful idea to bring into your life!
