This Sterling Silver Celtic Wedding band is created from three woven round wires, creating a strong band with a feel of openness, that is enhanced with two round wire rails that add to the design. This unique band evokes a sense of movement - like waves or clouds - and is entirely handmade here in our studio. This band is appropriate for either men or women.
This band is created from three strands of Sterling Silver 18 gauge round wire, woven carefully to create an openwork pattern. It is enhanced by two outside rails, which have been shaped, and then carefully soldered into place. This band measures approximately 6.5 mm (0.3 in) wide, and has been carefully soldered to create an endless pattern. The inside of this band is curved and smoothed for comfortable wear. Because of the openness of this pattern, this is not a ring we can engrave.
Viking Art and Celtic Art connected in the late 9th and 10th Centuries. Viking and Celtic braided and woven jewelry can be incredibly complex with numerous strands, but for these pieces we have chosen to focus on only three strands. The trinity strand is meaningful to many cultures and religions, and it is especially appropriate for commitment ceremonies!
