The beautiful ring shown features a bright Labradorite cabochon that measures 6 mm and is set in a Sterling Silver bezel. The band is embossed with lovely scrollwork, and measures approximately 4 mm (.15 inch) wide. This narrow, fine band is perfect for wear with other stacking rings, or for the person who likes light, delicate pieces.
Are you or your beloved unusual, quixotic, and quicksilver? No stone captures these changeable qualities like Labradorite. This flashy relative of Moonstone has a color for every light and movement of your hand. As you wear it, colors float across the surface - blues and greens are what make this particular stone so lovely. Due to the nature of labradorite, individual pieces vary in color, (and the same piece may look different in different lighting!) but I make a special effort to select pieces that have a lot of sheen, color play, and depth.
Most of the Sterling Silver jewelry shown in my store has been antiqued, and then re-polished in order to better show the detail, but can also be created with a bright, mirror finish if you prefer. We are happy to discuss substituting other gemstones. This ring can be made for you in any size you need, including half and quarter sizes. Please let me know if you have any questions!
