Celtic Engagement Ring in Sterling Silver, Triquetra Oval Ring | Moonkist Designs

Featuring a sparkling 8 mm x 6 mm (approximately 1.25 carats) oval faceted stone supported by two striking Triquetra (or Trinity) Knots, this Sterling Silver ring is beautiful, yet simple. We have recently updated this ring to have a six-prong mounting that provides more security. The crown mounting and Trinity Knots on this ring are a nod to the traditional Celtic Claddagh ring.

The ring in the pictures shown above feature a 8 mm x 6 mm Emerald, but can be created with your choice of stone. An image of our other available stone choices is included in the pictures above.

Celtic knots are some of the most recognizable artwork in all of history. They started appearing after about 450 AD, drawn and redrawn in manuscripts and as emblems - everything from decorations to jewelry. The Trinity knot, also called the Triquetra, is one of the best known symbols in Celtic culture. The Celtic Christian church used it to represent the Holy Trinity, but other cultures used the symbol too and each attached its own meaning to it.
